The financier purchased a smaller island - the Little St James - originally in 1998, but subsequently obtained the larger Great St James in 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
This visual evidence suggest he had created development schemes to build upon the substantial island by constructing homes, an amphitheatre, an office beneath the waves and a swimming pool.
